Product Description of Segment Tong
The Lifting Attachment will be made of forged steel and will swivel on anti-friction bearings arranged to exclude dirt and equipped for lubrication. Hook shall have a locking device which, when engaged, will lock the hook in the desired orientation.
Hook blocks will be constructed from rolled steel and have close fitting guards.
Lubrication
The Automtic Hook blocks will have grease fittings for lubricating hook thrust, radial, and sheave bearings. Grease fittings shall be protected against damage.
